February brings a little Smudge to CWSMC this Friday at Coventry University’s ICE building.

This month’s Coventry and Warwickshire Social Media Cafe is on Friday 18th February from 10am-12pm – you can sign up using EventBrite or Lanyrd.

Our guest speaker will be Leon Smith from the new local monthly magazine for Warwick and Leamington, Smudge.  Launched in December it’s a glossy community lifestyle magazine that aims to bring back community spirit and create link between local businesses and the community.

Three issues in and Leon will be talking about the challenges of launching a print magazine in a digital world and how the Smudge approach combines print, web and social media to reinvent local press.
